Paro International Airport. Paro Airfield turns 54 year. On 24 October 1966, the foundation stone Paro airstrip was laid. After one year five months, on 23 March 1968, it was completed and inaugurated. The day is remembered as an important milestone in the aviation history of Bhutan.
